Following the phenomenal success of the 'Crying Lightning' 7", which was available exclusively through Oxfam shops, Arctic Monkeys are once again teaming up with the charity for the follow-up single 'Cornerstone'. The limited-edition 'Cornerstone' 10" goes on sale exclusively in Oxfam's top 50 music shops across the UK on 16th Nov. The record is the second single from recent number one album Humbug, features new track 'Catapult' as well as exclusive B-sides 'Sketchead' and 'Fright Lined Dining Room'. Each single will come with a download code allowing fans to get an MP3 version of the songs for free.

Fans buying the new Arctic Monkeys single from Oxfam shops on Monday 17 August will have the chance to see Arctic Monkeys headline Reading and Leeds, as two singles will contain a winning code to get tickets to the festivals when entered online. Forty copies of the single signed by the entire band will also be distributed throughout Oxfam’s shop network, with a further fifteen sent out randomly to customers who order the single from www.oxfam.org.uk/shop. .

The time for an Arctic Monkeys update had to come sooner or later! So far in 2009 the band have road-tested new tracks whilst playing at the Big Day Out festival in New Zealand & Australia, returned to colder climes in the UK to rehearse new songs, and collected an NME Award for their acclaimed 'Arctic Monkeys at The Apollo' which later aired on Channel 4.

Arctic Monkeys are pleased to announce the one night only screening on Tuesday 14th October of 'Arctic Monkeys at The Apollo', a 76 minute film of the last gig in the band's acclaimed 2007 world tour, shot at their Manchester Apollo show in December. A Warp Films production (Dead Man's Shoes, This is England, Scummy Man and Leave Before the Lights Come On) is directed by Richard Ayoade (regular Warp Films music video director and actor from Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The Mighty Boosh and The I.T.

After another phenomenal year Arctic Monkeys have decided to mark the end of 2007 with a special show at Manchester Apollo on Monday 17th December 2007. To document this special event Warp Films will be filming the performance for theatrical and DVD release next year.* Warp films have produced some of the finest British films in the last 5 years, including 'Dead Man's Shoes', 'This is England' and also collaborated with Arctic Monkeys to produce the short film 'Scummy Man'.
