Biography
Ash started off as metal band Vietnam, when Tim Wheeler (guitar/vocals) and Mark Hamilton (bass) were schoolmates in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. The Ash we know today were born during their A-levels when they recruited older boy Rick 'Rock' McMurray on drums.
The group's mix of pop-punk and melodious rock have gained many fans since.
