Top class song that deserves recognition

"Petrol" by Ash is one of those songs which uses a simple guitar hook to devastatingly brilliant effect. Whilst the lyrics may not be from the Tim Wheeler 1977 vintage ('The cars pull up the drive/too many people inside' etc), the song does exactly what it wants to do- create brilliantly emotive poppy punk, unlikely as this sounds.
