ASH ARE BACK!

5th March 2007

Here it is... the first new Ash material in over 2 years, and it's FREE!

GIVE ME 'I STARTED A FIRE' FOR FREE! (High quality mp3)

You can also download this sneak preview from the new album on our MySpace page but we recommend the higher bit rate. We'd be extremely grateful if you add it as your MySpace profile song and help spread the word.

Ash are back in 2007!

Click the link above for Hi-Res artwork scan. Enjoy, it feels great to finally have new material out there! Here's the video we made in rehearsals before the tour in our studio in NYC. Our friend Josh Kletzkin shot and edited it for us. As you can see it's nothing too fancy (Wait til you see the video for the upcoming single You Can't Have It All!) but we wanted something to go along with the download and we think this is pretty cool.

For the moment it's up on YouTube.

We are currently working on a brand new media player that we will be launching on Ash-Official very soon. Our aim is to make it the best band website there is. You can download a higher quality version (100mb) of the video for your iPod or computer from the Ash Veoh site for FREE. Go get it!

And while we're on the subject of videos why not suscribe to the Ash YouTube Channel and if you upload or find any Ash related clips. Post the link in this thread and I'll add them to the Ash YouTube Group.

The Higher Education Tour has been absolutely storming and we're loving every moment of it. The shows have all sold out and the reaction has been fantastic, personal highlights so far have been Manchester and Glasgow where the crowds were just mental.

People also seem to be loving the new material, especially Polaris and In Hell which have been receiving rave reviews. We can't wait til you all hear them recorded!

We also have a brand spanking new merch store now on line. It's already been exposed on the forum but here's it's official unveiling. You can see that all the merch range from the current Higher Education Tour is avaliable for purchase worldwide. Along with a few older designs we still have stock of.

I think it's quite obvious from the designs and website header that we've decided to stick with the new 'block style' logo. It wasn't our favorite choice initially but it's grown on us and the Warners creative department really want us to use it, so we have let them have their way with that one.

Big thanks goes to our own resident artist Keith Noordzy who came up with the rather brilliant looking
Hellboyz Tee and stickers design.

We think Kamikazesquid is set for big things in the future. Check out his website: Wondering Art

We'll have to get this design made up into a wallpaper for ya'll... If you're a budding artist you can post your creations in the Fan Art Forum, if we like what we see maybe you'll be designing for us next! As well as the new merch you'll notice that we've repressed the orange 1977 tee that was a big hit back in 1996.

Retro-mania! If there's enough demand for the Conspiracy Theory? Tee we could do a limited run exclusive to Ash board members. The set up costs on a Tee would mean we'd need advance orders for at least 200 shirts. It's in your hands Ash fans! You couldn't make this stuff up... or could you?

Shirts are avaliable in all sizes and select girls skinnys.

Look out for some upcoming live reviews in Kerrang!, NME and The Fly.

Kerrang! are also joining us to do a tour feature in Bristol so that should be fun. Our friend Donna Legge flew over from Belfast to meet up with us at the rather fancy Revolution bar in Manchester for ATL TV. The interview is due to be screened on BBC2 (Northern Ireland) on March 15th at 10pm. We also think they'll be broadcasting the video for the upcoming single You Can't Have It All more on that later.

And for those who don't live in N. Ireland the feature will also be posted on the ATL website immediately after transmission. Gotta love the internet...

And finally you may have heard talk of the first single. It's called You Can't Have It All and it's a great! It'll be released in April and we've just finished the video which we think is pretty cool. Hopefully it'll be hitting all the usual music channels very soon. More info on that later but for now we hope you're loving I Started A Fire and if you're coming to the tour, see you then!

x Ash
