There's not much to say.. If i had one reason to recommend this ep it would be for See You Soon. It is definitely the highlight on the cd - a beautiful song and an early glimpse at the talent of this fab 4-piece. OK, so this EP precedes 'Parachutes' but most people probably have the album before buying this. Of the five tracks here, two appear on the album. The version here of 'Don't Panic' is a nice alternative but far inferior to the album version, suffering from an eerier, over-produced sound. 'High Speed' is the same as on the album and arguably the weakest track here.... Read full review »

THIS EP REALLY SUMS UP THE SOUND OF EARLY COLDPLAY AND ALTHOUGH IT WAS NOT THEIR DEBUT RELEASE ( IT WAS THE 3RD THING THEY PUT OUT )IT REALLY DOES SUM UP HOW GOOD THEY WERE IN THOSE EARLY DAYS AND AT THOSE EARLY GIGS , SUPPORTING THE LIKES OF SHACK AND CAMPAG VELOCET ON AN NME TOUR A COUPLE OF MONTHES AFTER THIS RELEASE .
