Great title track, great live versions!

This must be one of the best tracks by Coldplay, a far better version of the song than the first one, featured on The Blue Room EP. I really can't understand why it hasn't been selected as the first single release from Parachutes, instead of Shiver (a great song on its own merits, by the way - but Don't Panic is far superior, IMHO anyway). Strange Choice of Song!

After first discovering Coldplay in late 1999, Dont Panic was already a favourite of mine, and was to those who had seen them, a highlight of their set. So it seems strange that two years in they choose to release it as a single. And stranger that they believe we have heard enough of them in the UK and so it gets only a commercial release in Europ...
