Coldplay's next UK single will be Life In Technicolor ii, as taken from the Prospekt's March EP. The track will be released on Monday 2nd February on 7-inch vinyl and digital bundle. The B-side of the 7-inch will be a brand new song called The Goldrush, while the digital bundle will contain The Goldrush, plus Life In Technicolor ii (Live @ The O2, London). In other LITii news, the video for the single will premiere on the 4Music channel in the UK at 7pm on Tuesday 20th January. Later that night, at 12.10am, the video will be shown on Channel 4. For those of you in the rest of the world, the video will pop up on Coldplay.com very shortly after its TV premiere. On Saturday (17th Jan), Chris and his trusty piano will be heading to Cannes, France to perform Lost? (the acoustic version) at the 2009 NRJ Awards, where Coldplay are up for three gongs. Then, on 8th February, the whole band will be playing at the Grammy Awards ceremony in LA, America, where Coldplay have been shortlisted for seven awards.
