Listen to Empire album in full

17th August 2006

Empire, the new Kasabian album which is released on August 28th, is currently being streamed in full through the band's MySpace page, at www.myspace.com/kasabian. It's a quality record. You should listen.

You can also play some tracks via the streaming links in the Releases section on the band's site.

The record can be pre-ordered from all good retailers and also digitally from iTunes, where 3 bonus live tracks and video content are all included.

Post Brixton

This week's Brixton Academy show was, well, Empire (not just our opinion either; The Telegraph, The Independent and others all concur). The band headline V2006 this week, onstage at 9.35pm on the Channel 4 stage (Saturday Chelmsford, Sunday Stafford).

A live version of Empire, recorded at the Brixton Academy show, will be available to buy as a download from August 21st. Given the volume of the crowd during the song, there's a fair chance some of you will be on it...

You can pre-order the song from here, or by texting EMPIRE LIVE to 81330*. You'll be able to redeem your download from Monday 21st, from when the same purchase methods can be used to buy the track instantly.

* texts cost £1.50 plus operator's standard charge. Windows compatible. UK Only.

TV

Kasabian will be performing Empire during Channel 4's T4 on Sunday morning (August 20th). 11.55am is the time to wake up for.
