The Avalance remix on So Why So Sad (track 2) is worth the askning price on it's own. It is NOTHING like the manics have ever done before but it is so quirky, you will fall in love with it instantly.

Us fans have been through a lot with the Manics.
Our lives as fans began with a punk album of Epic proportions, Generation Terrorist.
Next we were immersed in Gold Against The Soul, which was all about quiet and loud, raging and caressing all at once.
We then returned to our angrier lyrics and punk with The Holy Bible, though it also had bits of lighter rock and very loud bass in it.
Next the Manic Street Preachers enjoyed, or suffered, depending on how you look at it, a re-birth with Everything Must Go. We found ourselves immersed into the world of indie rock, without Ritchie, who some might argue was the life and soul of the band. However the punk was still there here and there, and the political lyrics were still there.
This was followed by an even more indie-centred album, yet this one catapulted the Manics into the mainstream, giving them their first number one.... Read full review »
