This touching and typically (for This Is My Truth...)string based song was another 'hit' for the manics, a song based on The Silent Twins from Wales, girls who remained mute for most of their lives and were imprisoned for arson. Many see a comparison between the twins and Richey and Nicky, and this may be apt- a Tsunami is a wholly destructive force but even in the aftermath there can be some relief and hope, perhaps relating the spiral Richey was caught in and succumbed to, and the lives of all those close to him afterwards.
