ASTORIA: The Last Goodbye!

As announced on nme.com, XFM and the daily papers today, MV will be perfoming at the LAST EVER LIVE SHOW at the London Astoria next Wednesday, 14th Jan. Doors 6pm. Send-off AFTERPARTY midnight til late.

After numerous campaigns and public disappointment, the London Astoria finally closes its doors on January 15th. A Club night will have the honour of hosting the final night but we thought it wouldn't be right for the capital's most Iconic venue to close without a few live bands.

After a few frantic days of trying to encourage all we knew to get involved, we now have a line up on the 14th, which includes:

• The Automatic
• MY VITRIOL (plus special guest appearance)
• Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly
• Frank Turner
• The King Blues
• VV Brown
• (TBC Helsinki, Brigade)
• + Surprise secret guests!

COLLABORATION with MANSUN

There will also be the first onstage collaboration by MV as they will be joined by Paul Draper from Mansun for a couple of songs or so. He will be performing for the first time in seven years!

All proceeds from "The Demolition Ball: The Last Goodbye" will go to support the excellent work of Love Music Hate Racism and Jail Guitar Doors. Tickets are £8 ADV and £10 on Door from the Astoria box office, and all usual ticket agents. Stargreen sold out of all 600 tickets in the first day!

Sad as it all is, we're looking forward to this one last time to see the Astoria off in style! See you guys there!
