The full gamut of Oasis in four classic tracks

The early Oasis singles were as essential, if not more, than the albums themselves.
Initially one is attracted by the cover artwork on those all important first 12 singles. Only Pink Floyd albums seem to have such consistently enticing covers!
Each single features four tracks and is usually long enough to fill one side of an album. What's more the tracks are often more varied than what you get on the albums.

Whatever, Live Forever & Supersonic, all three of these singles were released before Some Might Say amongst others. I can understand Supersonic & Live Forever, because these were released before the majority of people had heard of Oasis, but Whatever was released when Oasis were considered the biggest band in the world. The best Oasis single

Oasis are renound for the quality of their B-sides, and this single really is the pinnacle of Noel's song-writing achievements. For your money you get what could quite easily have been released as an EP in its own right. The title track, 'Some Might Say', didn't give the band their first number one record for nothing, and is arguably the stand-out track of the (What's the Story?) Morning Glory album.
